Re: how well run is the caesars LV noon $130 tourney?
The Caesars tourneys are all run decently well. Valid points about the Blinds jumping, but still better than most. Seen some decent turnouts for late night tourneys too.

im going to vegas in 3 weeks. that blind jump looks kinda ridiculous. i think im gonna play at the venetian. [/ QUOTE ] I played both (although several months ago) and found them both very nice and very well run. It's true the blind jump at caesar's is material however the long clock makes for some interesting play in the first hour and a half, and when the antes come in a good player can actually take advantage of the many people that have no idea of how to play short stacked and do things like limping utg with speculative hands, with some solid tag play you can run over the table. |

I like both tourneys and both structures. Caesars gives you more play early on and more player later on. Venetian gives you fewer starting chips so it feels a little tighter early [/ QUOTE ] Actually, the Venetian gives 4500 starting chips also. |

Actually, the Venetian gives 4500 starting chips also. [/ QUOTE ] My bad. That's what happens when you don't play for a while--they go and change things. The last structure page I have from the 8pm tourney says T1500 for the buyin, T1000 for the dealer toke, T1500 for the add-on. When did they go from T4000 to T4500, and which of these three values changed? |

Somewhere after the Deep Stack (I think when they changed to running Deep Stack every day) they added 500 to the rebuy, making it 2000 more for $50.
