Yes, don't push out the drawing hands. Get them all-in on the turn as 3:1 underdogs when the pot lays them 2:1. Quit crying when they hit and focus on getting them back in that situation as soon as possible.

This applies to anyone: as soon as you ever hear yourself say "why can't I make these idiots fold?" you should seriously consider quitting poker. The vast majority of your money comes from "idiots who can't be made to fold".

Please do. I'm not sure I'll learn much though since I'm personally hyperglycemic most of the time but I'm always willing to keep an open mind!

...yeah, sure does suck when somebody reraises you all in and your an 88% favorite. why not first tell them what your hand is so they'll start folding.

Haagen - the variance in this game high, you'll just have to accept it.

Btw, I went on a tilt rampage last Monday and busto'ed my stars account, so you are not alone. I mean completely bust, $0 on stars. (Luckily, it was only a portion of my on-line roll though...)

In that hand, you had 87% equity when the money went in. The guy overvalues weak hands and you want to keep seeing him. But still, you are going lose these fairly often, about 1 in 8 times, so you need to be prepared for the loss.

But my suggestion about pushing out the drawing hands is forget about it. You don't want to push them out, and you probably won't be able to anyways. And there will be a lot of times when the drawers are ahead of you, even when you have current nuts. Just keep grinding, if you keep getting your money in as an 87% favorite, you'll be happy in the long-run.

lol yea. I mean that hand was just an example. It takes like 4 or 5 of those kinds of hands in an hour to get me really pissed, and acting like an idiot.

my name is Häagen.
