I would bet here if it was likely he would fold to a cbet [obv not likely].

But more importantly I would only bet the flop if he'll check the turn and we see both cards. This is only worth doing if he'll bet bet the turn and river when we check the flop or do some ghey overbetness.

But vs these type of villans I check more often, as when I totally miss the flop I want some slim drawing ability/don't want to lose a cbet unnecessarily.

Flop is also pretty drawy/connected so I doubt he'll fold any slim piece of it anyway.

I'd bet. If he has only a small piece of the flop you have 14 outs.

I bet because villains not dumb enough to pay you off when your draw hits because its so obvious. This is a good spot to semibluff.
