If this was in my homegame I'd owe that guy ten bucks for cracking gnu's aces.

I'll see you at Dan's game in Winchendon, no more 3-outers for you this time my friend.....

I haven't forgotten your 8/9 vs. my K/9. Then again, my Q/Q busting your A/A I guess means I owe you still (especially when you had my A/4 vs. your A/8 of clubs and I rivered the 4)

I'm 77% favorite to win after the flop. I'm 100 spots from the money, first place is 9 grand

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah.. 9 grand for first. You still have to beat 324 people even if you win this. What does place 200 pay? About 30 dollars?

I've taken much worse beats than this in a tourny

Yeah, just making the money is like, an 8-10 dollar cut above your buy-in, so I was obviously trying to accumulate chips.

I've just had one of those weeks where donkeys crush me in the cash games and now this tournament as well. When I raise with A/A/x/x in Omaha hi/lo and get called by 6/9/9/K and 4/7/7/8 in two days where I make the nut house on the turn but both my opponents have hit quads, yeah, I'm a little upset.

I figured to have a shot at a few hundred bucks at least if I build my stack at that point to 15-16K, since the avg stack at that point is about 6,700 (and I'm a better player than most of the field, although there are obviously players much stronger in tournaments than myself)

Happens to us all. Let's say the flop comes AKxx and he has K9, you still have AA. He pushes and runs KK, I think we feel worse for you. 5 outters, suck especially when you have AA, but they aren't nearly as bad as other beats. GL getting out of the funk.

i love it when people busto out w/ 100s of people left and think they got robbed of first place $9K. If you win this hand you still have <1% to win it...zzzzzzzzz
