Here are my questions (finally!):

1. Is there any possible way I could get a good job without going back to school? (unlikely, but I have to ask)
2. Is there any way I could get into a good undergrad program (maybe after a year at another school)?
3. Is there any way I could be hired by a trading or investment banking firm in the next 4 years?
4. How hard is it to get into a good graduate school with a state school undergrad degree?
5. What would you do (with my goals) in my shoes?

[/ QUOTE ]
1. Not without a lot of time working your way up. Depends what you want to do, which you don't know. It sounds like you want to take the school route anyways.
2. Yes, absolutely, if you are as smart as you say you are.
3. I wouldn't know.
4. Depends how good the state school is. Private does not mean better. Granted the very, very best schools aren't state schools.
5. Make a million dollars playing poker.

Play poker and save money while learning everything you can about investing or real estate.

How would you go about this? I can't just say "look, I'm really smart, who cares that I didnt graduate HS and got crappy grades, let me into your school!"

"State" was a very poor choice of words by me. Replace it with "schools that will let anyone in."

I'm still looking for the part where you are a hard worker. Instead of looking for the short cut or easy way out, try actually working hard at something and you will be amazed at the opportunities that will open up for you.

If you want a career, I would get back to school immediately. GED if you need it, then the best school that will take you. If you're as smart as you think you are, you should turn in a 4.0 over your first year or two and look to transfer to a decent school. Graduate with a top GPA and a double major in econ and math or a hard science, and you'll have your job on Wall St.

This is more the response I was looking to invoke. What types of schools do you think I can get into initially? Do you think these schools will have a big advantage over a bottom teir school like my local UAA in the transferring stage? I would like to stay in Alaska if there isn't a large difference.

Even if you make a quarter mil over 1.5 years, that's still way more than you are going to make as someone with an advanced degree entering the job market.

I don't believe you.

Things aren't adding up here.... You didn't graduate high school but were allowed into college? You can make 1 mil a year from poker and you're wondering what you should do with your life? WTF?

2. Transfer to better school, work hard.

I think a quarter mill in Canadian is like $12K U.S.
