Does anyone know if this is true? If so that has to be one of the biggest bankroll builds ever. To go from .50/1 to 300/600 in 2 years!

[/ QUOTE ]

As of right now on FT, make that 500/1000.

He never won a small tournament, but he did start at .25/.50 when he began playing NL online.

I think he said it took him like 6-8 months to get from small stakes to 50/100 NL.

[/ QUOTE ]

In the pocket fives podcast, he said that he won $2000 in a tournament on party poker.

If I put my mind to it and didn't attend college and didn't tilt I could get from .25/.50 NL to 50/100 NL pretty easy in 6 months. the thing is i'm not sure if i'll ever be able to put my mind to it, or never tilt. poker is soooooo hard because of all the variables involved for success.

Methinks this is much, much, much more difficult than you think it is.

I have respect for you as a player, but we've played a lot of hands together, and i really disagree with this. Everyone thinks they are better than they are (I am no exception).

You have to be a good player AND a luckbox to do this. If you think people grind to highstakes that fast without running really hot, you are delusional. I don't care how good you are.
