1-1 last night for +.1. 3-7 overall for -3.55. This is the make or break night for the system:
Pens +170
Ning +170
Isles +260

Yeah they look ugly but last year I was in a similar situation and took Edm +220 vs Det, TB +250 vs Ott, and Ana +155 vs Cgy and damn if they didn't all win (would have been a helluva parlay). I'd be happy if I can get 2 out of 3 today. Flames will be a play tomorrow at around +220.

Haha, nice job tonight. Should have backed your plays but didn't. I hope you parlayed the three.

SOB! Just got back from a wedding and checked the scores. Nice to see I hit all three but the funny thing is after I posted about last year and what a good parlay it would have been I almost went back and put a small parlay in. Oh well, can't be displeased with a 3-0 night +6.0 units. Overall 6-7 +2.45. I'm on Calgary tomorrow at +220. Either way, the system will once again show a profit.

p.s. Just checked and a parlay would have payed 25-1! Doh!

Calgary went down so the system ends up at 6-8 +1.45 units. Not as good as last year (or most years going on memory, too lazy to dig up old notebooks) but at least it wound up in the black.

So over here in Sweden we can bet on something they call 'the bomb' which features 3 games and you gotta have right score after full time in all of them, then the payout is an odds based on how many winning systems got the results in.
Thing is hockeygames can pay totally sick odds since scores tend to get "weird", it's not uncommon to get 40-50.000 to 1
and as example the scores from a few days ago (4-4,4-4,6-3)
paid 127.553 to 1.
The way you bet it is you pick any number of goals for each of the 6 teams and multiply it, then choose the value you play your system for, ie 2x4x3x3x2x2=288 for 1 dollar cost you 288, times 2 dollar 576 etcetc.

So with that little introduction - playoffs is usually tighter than normal so with that in mind, which teams amongst those playing are more/less prone to be in high/lowscoring affairs?

What if you pick a team to get zero?

That works just as well as any other number of course.
I'll give an example of how I played yesterday:

Dallas 2-3-4 Vancouver 1-3
Detroit 3-5-6 Calgary 0-2
Pittsburgh 3-4-5 Ottawa 3-4

3x2x3x2x3x2=216
