The only reason not to go pro is if youre in Noah's situation and youre family's already crazy rich. Durants got the skills for the pro game now and hes a lock top 2 pick. The risk of injury or not having another awesome year (very unlikely IMO) are too great to be screwing around with that kind of money. Hes gonna get a sick endorsement deal too. Set your family up for life, easy decision.

It's much more clear cut for Durant regardless of Noah's money situation. Noah was probably the consensus #1 last year, but his name wasn't as big as Durant is now. Durant is guaranteed sick sick shoe money and other endorsements that will dwarf whatever contract top rookies usually get. Nothing he can do in another year of college will really improve what he's going to get now

Without a doubt. If Oden doesn't declare, he's a shoe in for #1 overall pick.

Hell even if Oden does declare, Durant may go #1.

Yes is the obviously correct decision here.

The only reason why Durant should stay in school would be to capitalize on the UT pussy. Kind of like how Vince Young should have had every girl from that school on his nuts after he single handedly beat USC.
But being in the NBA means that Durant won't have a problem with this, so GL to him.

If Durant is in the East, he could very easily turn his new team into a playoff team.

Durant was never gonna win a nat'l title anyway, it's time for him to leave. Say hello to Phoenix .

That first round pick is top 3 protected, but knowing the Hawks luck they'll get 4th in the lottery

I'm going to derail this thread because it sucks. Say your phoenix with the 4th or 5th pick what would you be willing to give up in order to move up to Durant? Matrix + 1st this year + 1st next?
