Re: Beating the Rake
Where is this game at? What casino? I havent heard of a rake this low in even Vegas, AC, or Tunica, and I doubt any midwest states which are much higher would offer this. Overseas games are typically higher than U.S., so OP, what are you talking about? The only places I can think of are in Reno or Laughlin or are you talking about some home game?

Re: Beating the Rake
[ QUOTE ]
you think $3 is bad, try Amsterdam where the 10/20 is 5% and maxes out when the dealer gets tired of doing math. [/ QUOTE ] I hear you, I only come there when I'm ready to lose some money. Especially the lowest limits 2/4 they have got a 10% rake on those. |

Re: Beating the Rake
$3 max rake at $5-10 is highly beatable. Los Angeles $4-8 was beatable for ~$6-10 an hour when the drop was mandatory $4+1(not so sure anymore with the dollar on the river) so your game is very beatable.
Most players here wish their games dropped that small an amount. |

Re: Beating the Rake
Thanks for all the input! I thought it sounded good. The Casino is the Emerald Casino in Saskatoon, Canada. usually only 2 or 3 tables going, limit only.
