with only like half pot left he is usually going to just shove if he hit the flush, so when he checks you have an easy shove.

i don't make that little overbet on the turn but i like the river bet. he's too shallow to get away from a lot of hands. given that you did overbet the turn, a lot of naked flush draws fold, and there aren't many combo draws he can have since one of the non-clubs is a 2. 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], KcQc is about it. i guess that's not that that few, but it's not too many.

You're going to get called by a worse hand more often than he has teh flush, i think. Even the dumbest villain has to realize that he's played his hand like a draw, and that the 3rd club has hit on the river, which means there's a good chance you'll check behind. So I expect him to bet his flush almost always here.

I can't find a decent hand he plays this way with the river check and then I assume he is a bad player and then I will bet the river, who knows what a bad player will call this river with.
He should bet any club draw on the river.
He should raise somewhere with a set.
He should not call turn with a naked fd.
etc, etc

I think this is excellent reasoning and a great reason to shove. I dont think I would ever check behind here with so little money left.
