Btw im 90% sure Antonius only opened for 2k pf, pot was 3600 from his raise + blinds and antes. So a reraise from BB was clearly better but I guess he was trying to trap.

[ QUOTE ] ...Lindgren played it poorly, should have re-raised pre flop and led the flop. [/ QUOTE ] Should he always play AK like that? Always against tough opponents? [/ QUOTE ] Erik had about 80k it seems and Patrick had him easily covered. Not sure what blinds and antes were, something like 300-600 + 100. Antonius raises a lot of hands pre-flop, there's a good chance he folds here to a pre-flop re-raise. If I'm Erik, I don't want to play tricky out of position vs. a good player. Seems like Erik's plan was to trap Antonius on a good flop w/ a check raise. Which worked, but essentially he committed himself to playing for his stack after the flop because Antonius is capable of pulling off a big bluff w/ a worse hand and his potential range is huge. After calling the turn bet, could Erik get off this hand if any other card falls? Maybe a spade. If he was trying to avoid playing a big pot by just calling the pre-flop raise, he didn't do a very good job. |
