Re: Opening range from SB
I raise all the hands OP raises. And if I get floated or reraised, I push.

Same range as OP, apart from the offsuit 1 gappers.

[/ QUOTE ] well, you've gotta draw the line somewhere.. If your range includes K-8o+ (not neccessarily saying it is), you really think K-8o is +EV and K-7o is -EV? |

Re: Opening range from SB
I'm about the same as OP too unless I know the BB is actually good/doesn't mind getting a bit frisky in position/isn't on autopilot, in which case I obviously tighten up. Most guys are just multitabling and hitting check/fold in turn though.

Re: Opening range from SB
Mainly depends on what type of player BB is. Vs. a nit who doesn't adjust I raise even complete trash. Vs. competent agressive players I tighten up a lot. Limp more hands vs. calling stations, etc. Your opening range looks fine, maybe slightly on the loose side.

Re: Opening range from SB
depends entirely on the bb's tendencies, stack size, and history with me.
but i'd generally rather take his 10 bucks than give him my 5. |

Re: Opening range from SB
who likes to openlimp sb vs agressive players and call/raise 90% of the time with medium strength hands that you want to play but control potsize OOP vs players who will reraise to 10bb a ton when you open for 3bb
