On the show in general though. I don't like how they didn't introduce all the players. I have to see more of Sabina, but she is better than Courtney.

I played against Stan Weiss in the first preliminary event ($550 buy-in) at the MPS. He sat just to my left during the bubble and just after it...only hand we played was me w/JJ, I raise he calls, flop is Ace-high, I make what was probably a stupid bet, he shoves, I fold.

When we get down to three tables we get moved and he's two to my right...I'm short but double-up twice and have a medium stack. Then he raises in EP and I shove AKo, he calls (and covers) with AQo, flop is AQx and buh-bye donkeychip (something like 26th or so). He went on to win that preliminary event.

Puking as I watch the show.

Well, it's official folks. The WPT is no longer watchable. Dags said it best the other night on HSP....'I've got 66, you have AK, lets shove all the money in pf and see who gets lucky and becomes the next tv superstar.' So bad I didnt even bother to watch the 2nd half of the show.

Absolute WORST WPT Champion ever.........quite an embarressing show from all points of view,from the blind structure,no-choice ALL-IN's on every hand, comments from players ala. Stan Weiss ,then calling with K5o for his stack and being rewarded..........,just aweful poker T.V!

No wonder the WPT ratings have gone south,as I forgot how bad this show has gotten!

The way Vince Van Patten fell to the floor when Stan Weiss hit that two outer on the river was beyond hilarious. So glad I got that on the DVR.

this was the best WPT moment ever

i may have been influenced by a certain substance but i was laughing SO hard. it just adds to clowny nature of patten and his commentary style. i'm pretty sure he made up 3 new names of hands last night on the spot. i can't even remember them they were so strange. AQ = mike tyson was one i think.
