I have a friend that's sort of like this. He started dating a girl that had slept with, literally, about a fourth of my fraternity, or maybe 20 guys... all from the same house. She was renowned for her knob slobbing. He's a great guy, real nice, AND he knew of her exploits, so it was surprising when they started seriously dating. It was even more surprising when she was in Australia and IM'd a mutual friend of theirs to tell him all about having sex on the beach with some dude, and he meekly accepted the "I was really drunk" story.

But even worse, she treats him like dirt. At dinner, in public, with a big group, she'll snap at him like he's a five-year old, telling him to sit up straight, take his elbows off the table, or something else equally, trivial, diminishing, and embarrassing for everyone. She's totally passive-aggressive, and if she's angry at a friend and wants to uninvite them to some event, she'll call that person and say she's not inviting friends of similar status, and just wants to go with the boyfriend, instead of either dealing with it or being straight-up. Basically, she's a miserable bitch.

He moved to ATL to live with her maybe a year ago, and proposed at Christmas.

often times, people react negatively when confronted w/ the truth.

taking the OP at face value, all greg did was listen to his girlfriend and go against the grain w/ his buddies. great. he lost face for it. time to grow up and move on now guys.

he has made a point of saying law school could search for this online and find it. i personally know people that hire and search on myspace and other online communities and take the information they find into acct. i realize that's probably only part of the reason why he's asking it be taken down, but it's the most valid.

Agreed.... you are now basically forcing him to choose between friends and his gf. Even if she's a witch, don't cut off all ties with him.
