I like checking behind and shoving to a bet on the riv. If checked to on riv, I'd bet ~2/3 pot. I think if u bet here, its almost obv u have a flush, and won't get paid unless someone has AK with A of hearts or has set/two pair. Someone will call on the riv tho prob in a live game if u check here and bet ~2/3 pot onthe riv, so i think checking here gets u better value but will risk possibly getting u sucked out on or action killed if theres a river heart.

My goal here was to try to get action from a hand like AK w/ the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] because both of these players had been willing to call very large bets with less than premium holdings.
I did decide to push here. Villain 1 took 2-3 minutes and decided to call. Villain 2 took an even longer time and finally folded K-4 face-up. (He did call 60 on the flop with bottom pair). The river comes another [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I show my hand, and am nicely told that 'it no good, it no good' and tables the AQ [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] |
