The ability to always get a first down on 4th and 1, and 3rd and 2 would be extremely valuable. If he wasn't susceptible to injury he'd be among the most valuable players ever, but since he is going to be plunging into the line on short yardage repeatedly he is gonna get hurt sooner or later because any coach would be using him all the time.

[/ QUOTE ]

ya also the value would be awesome for 3rd and 1 or 2nd and 2 where u basically have a free down

[/ QUOTE ]

Honestly, this I think it the real power of this guy. A guy like Peyton would absolutely torture opposing Ds knowing this guy was a lock. Holy play action Batman.

To be fair, this guy is prob gonna make alot of QBs look much better, not just Peyton, just used him as the prime example.

Also, if a team got 9 yards on 1st down then it could take 2 shots deep for free.

depends on the team. the colts would be obviously going deep whenver they could but the texans would be better off gettin the first down.

"Here we go Texans fans. Second and 1, we have two free plays thanks to Mr. Automatic. Schaub drops back, and here comes the rush. Schaub is looking, looking, and he is sacked! And it's third and 8. Damnit."

Are we to assume that he never fuMbles? How is his blitz pickup? Does he have any other skills like lead blocking?

Also at 2.5 yards a carry he would not be recognized as an all star or MVP or anything close to that, but his team may win the superbowl.

Why would anyone respect the run when this back can be given a clear lane to the endzone and will trip over his feet after a yard every time?

2.5 YPC locked up, with no fumbles/injuries would not only be in the HoF, his teams would go unbeaten for as long as he plays.

There are injuries in the OP. This guy probably never has more than a 1000 yard season or he breaks down due to too many carries and his career ends prematurely.

yeah, but this includes injuries. this guy isn't going to be able to carry the ball 80 times a game.
