College Poker Players - How much time do you play??

Yeah I average about 10-15 hours per week (online, not including live) playing heads-up SNG's and 2-tabling full ring cash games. Depends on how busy I am: I'll exceed this average when I'm not very busy but then go a few days without any play at all if I'm really busy.

back in the day of full time school.. probably 10-15 hrs. less if it was a test week or finals

I'm a psycho. I'm trying to graduate in May so I"m taking 6 courses. Mon-Thur I have class 1pm-830pm.

I usually put in around 35-50 hours of live poker a week at casinos. This is all condensed from Thur nights-Sunday mornings.

Too much. Probably like...15-20 hrs / week. I really need to cut back to like 5 considering I always have a ton of schoolwork and have been neglecting thesis research.

wow that's like an 80 hour week

i like drinking and going out too much so i 10 table about 1hour a day 5 days a week. i feel bad for people playing 20+hours a week, it is too lonely, ive been there.

i play ~ 15 a week, still have time to get good grades, go out, work out, etc

My criteria for school is:

1. Make sure I go out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
2. Make sure I get at least a 3.5 gpa each semester.
3. Make sure I take my girlfriend out to dinner a couple nights/week.

OK, so assuming I accomplish all of that, then I play poker. Generally I'd say I play 12-15 hours/week (pretty much 2 hours/night fer 3 nights during the week...then a long shift on Friday--like 1-5, and a long shift on Saturday...like 1-4). Er sometimes I set a goal to make 10kish/month and play accordingly (eg- sleep a lil less than normal to do so).
