Sorta OT, I'm moving back up after a bit, thinking about skipping the 3/6. Winning over 2BB/100?

[/ QUOTE ]
Was winning 2.5 over about 30k. Now over 45k I'm at maybe 1.4 or so. This month running at 34% winning sessions. Am having a vbig problem flopping pairs. Though when I do get them I try real hard to get max value.

Miles,

I realize you may not think particularly highly of me as a player and consequently may not be that interested in my advice, but the few times I played you I found that you either played very tight straightforward or you spewed excessively. I think a happy medium would be a better approach (and perhaps that is how you normally play -- I've only played with you in a couple of sessions).

I generally found that when you were playing tight, I could 3bet you liberally and release my hand pretty quickly if I got any action from you. Conversely, when you were spewing, I felt like I had to tighten up a bit because you would frequently cap light, raise postflop with or without a hand, etc., but that I could induce a lot of action when I was ahead.

Your posts tend to be right on or pretty close to it on a consistent basis, so if you frequently play like you post (and a lot of 2+2ers, myself included, struggle with this), you're doing plenty fine.

I only doubted your HU game sj. The only reason I would discount what you have to say about me is because I know you've seen me at my worst. Anyway, this is my real problem (and it isn't stopping):

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

when u said this is ur problem I thought u meant not bet folding here, then i realized u meant the suckout. did u mean both at all or not at all?

do u think this is really a bet fold. how bout other people? interesting river seems textbook bet fold but its a hard one to practice getting 12:1 with CO raising out sb like that (could be a bluff, but never is here always A3 A5 76 ect on this board).

No I mean the suckout. I call every day and I don't even think twice. The guy was like 37/25/2 or something and I just don't get it, but it has happened so much lately it's disgusting. I just want to see if you guys see me playing like a [censored] idiot.

Yes it's a bet/fold and probably not even close, I just willingly make the wrong play.

lol villain played it fine except for PF which seems iffy. If he thinks you spew a lot, floating it can't be that big of a mistake.

Edit: Or you are expressing disbelief at the retarded suckout. Or something.

The preflop coldcall is [censored] abysmal. WTF are you smoking to say it's just "iffy?" Obviously the douche played postflop fine. Did you think I missed his draws or what?

And how does it matter if I spew postflop if the retard has less than 3 small bets to spew with?

For kicks:

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
3 folds, SB completes, Hero raises, SB calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

River: (6 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 8 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Jd 9s (two pair, kings and jacks).
Hero has Th Td (two pair, kings and tens).
Outcome: SB wins 8 BB.

And while I was editing that post, another TAG pulls this brilliant move:

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls.

Flop: (10 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG folds.

Turn: (6 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: (6 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 8 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Kd Td (two pair, kings and tens).
Hero has Qc Ah (one pair, aces).
Outcome: SB wins 8 BB.
