Re: AQs preflop question.
I think a case can be made for calling or folding but I lead towards calling and floating most flops. If you know how villian plays in 3 bet pots, calling because far better.

Re: AQs preflop question.
I was in this situation recently:
I've been (re)raising preflop pretty frequently. I'm on the button and pick up JJ. A fairly tight player UTG raises to something like 4bb. Folded around to me and I pot it. She pops it again to around 40bb (we both have stacks of around 100bb). Personally, I think that's a terrifying bet size from her .. who does that without AA or KK, really? Anyway, how do you think villain would interpret a 4-bet like that? |

[/ QUOTE ] JJ and AK are generally folds, but i can see shoving for both if there has been alot of history. OP, I dont mind 4-betting. calling with the intention of shoving a few flops (ie. 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) and stuff like that. |
