Though I don't think it would play out as gaboon describes. there are other scenarios that could play out.

I'm sorry people. Nobody likes the bearer of bad tidings, but gaboon's reasoning is sound.

He is the voice of reason. What happened to Armageddon date? Just move your date up a few months, just like some religious nut would do if his predictions were not quite quite 'spot on'. From an earlier post:

[ QUOTE ]

Through my current analysis of the legislative/political poker environment I have come up with a date, 3/1/07, when I think things in the poker world will get really, really, REALLY crazy. I call this date The Armageddon Date and here is what I think will happen by then: 1.) The money most players have in their online accounts will be depleted by then with little or no way to replenish this money; 2.) Even those who are still bringing in money now will have run out of cash by then or be extremely low, with no viable way to replenish it; 3.) ePassporte, the only remaining "safe" wallet, will have pulled out of the US market.

[/ QUOTE ]

As to this
[ QUOTE ]

I recall when the first post was made about the Neteller arrests (I don't recall who posted it). The guy was lambasted as being Chicken Little, "you don't know what you're talking about and should be banned." We all know how true that rumor turned out to be.

Keep firing enough shotgun blasts in the dark and you WILL hit something.

I've always wondered whether Gaboonviper was paid by the DOJ or some other governmental agency to make these posts

What?
The government will pay people to post?
This goes against all my ethics.
How much are they paying?

Default Great expose on Gaboon\'s BS. March 1 Armaggedon predictions

This is a good place to stick Gaboon ....and his "SPOT ON" predicitions:

None of his 3 major predictions for March 1, 2007 came about .... 3 Strikes and he is OUT.

So much for his "analysis". I do not mind his gathering news stories, but the shallowness of his knowledge becomes apparent when he prognosticates about them.

He simnply doesn't understand the power of the demand for online poker and the resilience of the market in trying to meet that demand, coupled with the distaste of American banks for being saddled with unfunded obligations to act as watchdogs .....

No, it is an uneducated, wild, random guess. Just like everything else he spews from his keyboard.

You really need to review his prior posts. As others have implied, make enough random guesses and you may occasionally get one right.
