Why would the best player in the world according to the best players in the world play to stack a lesser player for 100k when you could stack him for a million?

[/ QUOTE ]

He isn't the best nl holdem cash player in the world. He most likely isn't even the best nl cash player at the table.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then who is the best NL cash player at the table or not at the table?

[/ QUOTE ]

Chip Reese?

Ivey is for sure top 5 in the world, and easily the class of the table.
Don't kid yourself, Yukon is good, but no chance in hell Ivey isn't the best in that lineup.

"in that lineup", that lineup was probably the best lineup they've had in HSP.
btw Ivey's play wasn't impressive this episode and I really doubt he's the best player at the table.

I hope that's a joke.

And no, Ivey is definitely not the best NL player at the table. I think most high stakes players who have played against these guys would make the argument that several players are better at NLHE (PA, Booth, Dags, sbrugby).

Just because Ivey is probably the most respected player in the poker world does not mean that he is the best NLHE player against a bunch of guys that play a hell of a lot more NL than he does. NL is the strongest game for many of the players at the table.

Have any of you had the opportunity to watch any of the players at the table your discussing play a significant number (i.e. 1000's) of holdem hands?? Cause if you haven't, and I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that's the case, then you're all just pissin into the wind.

Brian is better than Ivey at NL cash without a doubt...

Antonius and Durrrr are also better than Ivey at NL cash.

But yes, I would say Ivey was better than everyone else at the table besides Brian. Though Jdags is also very very good.
