Thanks! Nobody solves anything by hand anymore [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]; I don't blame them. But if anyone could show me how to solve it by hand, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks. I dont know what the hell I was doing before, but I'm getting 59:41 edge for A7o vs random now. (Against top 38% its 51:49 dog).

I'm sure you can find the proper links in the FAQ.

In short :
1. you compute your $EV if you fold, call+win, call+lose (use a ICM calculator)
2. from find how many % of the time you need to be good for the call to be OK
3. use PokerStove to see if your % against his range is OK

call - you are in the mooney and can knock someone out - you have enough chips left in case you lose, A7 is a good hand in this spot
