Re: stars VIP weekly mtt changes?
This is exactly the point.
The time and day for these freerolls does not work out best for everybody. It's probably the best overall time. But everyone has different schedules. In Australia, isn't this freeroll at 1am or 2am or something? This is why they should consider having tourneys at different days and times of the week. Do tourney-tickets or whatever. And I'm saying this as someone who is BENEFITTING by all you who can't make it. Because Saturday afternoons works perfectly for me. I can play it almost every week and\ would be playing anyway. I just hate practically feeling like I'm 'obligated' I guess and I just would prefer to play them when I want to. I also agree that calling a 'points for entry' tourney a 'freeroll' is kind of lame. If you charged 1-million points to enter the tourney would that make it free? So I sometimes don't bother with the $20k VIP tourney with the overlay. Costs $1.60 in points to enter. Value of tourney-entry = $5.70 or so ($20k prize-pool / 3500 players). So it's a pretty good overlay for a smaller buy-in (and it is a 'buy-in') tourney. |

Re: stars VIP weekly mtt changes?
For all that stars does correctly, it really is remarkable that they like these vip freerolls so much. freerolls are awful. freerolls are for 12 year olds who can't deposit or old ladies who are afraid to put their credit cards on the internet.
