Ansky, I am with bond. One pair is obviously not worth all our chips here, but a set go for broke.

usually the button doesn't have JT no matter how bad he is, so I'm gonna go ahead and say two clubs are gone (he isn't thinking for five minutes with a set, don't even THINK of folding AA just because of his coldcall). BB also folded clubs or JJ or something fairly retarded, so on average that's actually around 3 clubs.
so now we come to Jdags, and he's the only one whose hand I care about at all, which means that folding AA is way closer than it usually would be with this action. in fact, I'm not gonna say whether I fold it here or not because it's going to depend on my live jdags read. otoh, I fold all FD's now. also, because this is a giant pot, there is some fancy stuff you can do with just calling (if you have specifically AA and not a set) and shoving non-club turns. that way jdags can overshove and button's going to have to fold his draw (you hope). |

Given the action I'm nearly 100% sure the nitty old man had 22.
I'm also pretty sure Dags has 66 or TT. I mean he has to know the nitty old man lead is huge and he probably knows Ansky raising the nitty old man lead is huge. So I can't imagine him cold 4betting a big draw. Unless he thinks he can get the nitty old man to lay down 22/66 which would be kind of sick but I doubt it. Also their isn't even an OESD on board so they only really big draws he'd 4bet would be all the gutters so I guess 8c 9c, 7c 8c, 7c 9c, 3c 4c, 4c 5c, and maybe 3c 5c. So I'm pretty sure I fold everything but TT here. But maybe I'm being a giant nit. I mean I think the fact that it is incredibly likely the nitty old man has 22 makes it seem like Dags only potential hand is 66 or TT. |

I don't think the nit's lead has to be 'huge' and thus I don't think Ansky's reraise has to be 'huge' either. He's just getting a playable hand heads up in position with a predictable player. Do then Dags' raise doesn't have to be 'huge', although we are certainly thinking very large by this stage. Christ knows how bad players can be in this kind of thing but the button cold call does seriously scare me. If he's bad, then how much he covers the table by is important.
As for what now. Well, I'm shoving AKc and any set. AcAx I might see the turn. I dunno. |

fold TT, call with 9xcc [/ QUOTE ] This has to be a mistake. How can we fold top-set here...or pretty much ever? |

Give me a range for the nitty old man leading in a 5 way pot.
edit: I don't think give we fold 66 here because if Dags has a combo draw we probably has very good equity because of the good chance we are against two club draws. |
