Do you intend to call a raise?

[/ QUOTE ]
I sure as hell wouldn't.

That's a big part of the reason for the large river bet.

Seems like a river raise by villain would be a bluff a decent amount of the time. It's not totally out of question that he could have turned a boat and slowplayed it, but I'd say it's pretty unlikely. I don't know if he is capable of raising like K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the river either. But if we assumed both scenarios were extremely unlikely, I think we could give serious consideration to calling a raise, or shoving. But this is all stuff I'd never do, but this is a GP hand and he is crazy.

what would you give him credit for? KK might show up 1% of the time but these games play so aggro that people usually like getting in as much as they can pre with KK since others put so much $ in with worse

Now that I think about it more, that is actually another big benefit from the large bet.

It should polarize his range into nuts and bluffs, and we're pretty damn sure he doesn't have the nuts.

I don't see the point in shoving, though, since I don't think he's value raising/bluffing with an in between hand.

given the multiway preflop and flop action, i think he's on a draw most of the time, an 8 sometimes, and he has 77 or a 6 or a smaller pair like never. i could be wrong, but if so its based on your table image which i'm not too aware of.

so i prefer a c/c to pick off his bluffs, rather than a bet which serves nothing more than to possibly chase him off a split.

i always wonder how i'm doing in spots like this, it seems to be well lately

i think a bet and a check call are both just fine, but i think a 6 checks behind obv and [censored], a 6 ALWAYS calls my ass. so, i'd probably not mind a lead...

also, 2 is a much much much better card to do it on than a 3c, imo. and i don't think it' sclose, because with the 2 you can rep a hand. this looks like a great spot to merge what tyou lead with and maybe even serve as a two way if he somehow thinks you'll be in line here.

This is a good thing for us here.... why?

I don't see how the other benefits you mention are caused by the 2, and not the 3.
