High school senior in australia, depending on what uni course i do i will be class of 2011...although i've still 8 months left of high schoool....zzzz

Just got declined to Univ. of Florida. Guess I'm going to Ohio State.

I still think it was a bad beat...I'll ask you guys, though.

I had a 3.65, 31 act, 1350 sat, mixed with some decent clubs and sports (JV only). Is this surprising or should I have seen it coming?

Meh. College admissions is pretty impossible to try to dissect. I have a friend who got into Northwestern but denied to UF.

I would have expected you to get into florida 98/100 times, unless you're a felon or something

Accepted to UCSB! However, I will be 21 when school starts and I haven't made up my mind yet if it's good or bad that the rest of the freshman class will be a lot younger. Meh, surrounded by 18 year old girls, can't be too bad, right? I probably won't dorm as long as I can get an apartment in IV though.
