Dude, you only want to control the pot with a hand you don't want to go broke with. That's the whole idea behind controlling it. What was your plan? Keep the pot small with the nuts and then fold if the board paired?

Usually the best plan is to check the flop and turn with the nuts, and if you still have the nuts by the river, just shove then. If the board pairs by the river I'll either call a bet no more than 1/6th of the pot or fold.

Dude you've got this all wrong. Checking to the river is good, but you've gotta minbet or minraise so that you get paid off more often obv.

Also, openfolding when the board pairs is better than spewing 1/6 pot bets all over the place. It's good for metagame and puts your opponents on tilt.

"no one shoves the nutz" should be changed to "everyone who wants to play a big hand deceptively but sucks always slowplays to the river then makes an enormous overbet of the pot (usually a push)"
