Regularly did Fri - Mon awake on ecstacy about 4 or 5 years ago but the last time that happened I broke a side table with my head after blacking out. No more e for me.

I did about 84 hours as a freshman in college because of poker/computer games/classes. I was at hour 83 in my history class (which was 3 hours straight) and was beginning to see 2 of the teacher when I realized I should probably sleep. Slept 22 hours straight after that.

60 hours for a two day trip to amsterdam.

the casino on the ferry over there only had 2 pontoon tables but with 9 boxes each, so from about 3am till 7am i was betting the £20 max on each box on each table. add in amsterdam, then we got to see Bodies The Exhibition, so after 60 hours without sleep, drugs, every sex show, peep show, or dvd booth amsterdam had to offer i'm walking around looking at real undeveloped fetus in jars.

i've never gone really long stretches with absolutely no sleep. i did, however, get approximately 4 hours of sleep per night, every night, for 6 weeks during officer training for the marines. that kind of sleep deprivation really [censored] you up. people would literally fall asleep while walking. then they'd "walk" while lying down for a while...
anyway, you'd also go into these micro sleeps if given any peace (i.e., just sitting down). basically, what would happen is that you'd be fully awake, sipping on some water say, and bam, you'd just pass out and wake up 5 seconds later with water all over you. good times.

By the way, it is estimated that a human will die after 10-12 days of total sleep deprivation.

P.S. The world record, however, is almost 11 days.

Four days in a row. Handed in final project with a week and a half to spare, after staying out of class and doing it on my own, which the professor had encouraged. When I handed it in, he was pissed I had taken him at his word, and made me trash it. Took massive amounts of work to redo. Lost 30 pounds in 10 days.

Could you clarify why exactly the prof was pissed?? Dont follow.
