I've been laughing and quoting the Cosby "Hi Mom" bit for 15 years. Mencia pretty much mangled it. After the punchline, Cosby's wistful silence is 10 times funnier than Mencia's yelling.

He's such a hack, it's ridiculous. But CC will never pull his show as long as people watch his show.

It really doesn't make sense to steal something from Cosby, because certainly SOMEONE's heard it so the truth will come out.

That leads me to believe that he stole it from some unknown hack who originally stole it from Cosby...which is obviously even more pathetic.

That is where the Digg and Youtube effect comes in. With the first Joe Rogan video, George Lopez on Howard Stern, and now this, people who once liked him will realize that he is a douche bag. The type of person who finds Mencia's (stolen) comedy funny is the type who will bail on him when they realize everyone else thinks he is uncool. This whole thing has been viral for almost two months now, it has to have some negative affect on his ratings.

One time a friend of my gf's, her bf was chatting with me at some party and for some crazy ass reason they had just saw him at the improv weeks ago. He was telling me about it and trying to get me to agree with him that Mencia "is the best around," I kept ignoring it and telling him about OTHER comedians that I really liked. It was really awkward b/c out of respect of my gf I didn't want to be a dick and be THAT GUY that has to make someone realize how wrong they are for liking something at a party, but GOD I WANTED TO!

Thank you for 2p2 Mencia threads though so I can see everyone else's hate, it makes me smile.
