Default Laptops: 4-tabling on party - 15.4\" ok?

Does anyone in this forum currently 4-table party on a 15.4" laptop screen (w/ hud etc)? Is it ok and if so what resolution do you go for?

Im going travelling and I think 17" is going to be too much of a hassle, but I will do it if people think 15.4" is a disaster for 3/4 tabling?

Thanks,

RR

(There are a couple of other laptop threads in last few months but I didnt find the answer there)

More important is the screen resolution not the size of the screen. But 4-tabling should be cake on any screen thanks to resizable tables.

I used to 4-table Party @1024x768 on a 15" LCD and it was fine. I even played upto 9 (6max) tables on the same setup with the middle column/row of tables totally obscured (using the TableNavigator script it was still fine, and I regularly played 6 tables like that).

With resizeable tables you'll be fine, I four table now on a 15.4 inch gateway laptop. 1440 x 900 (I believe thats correct) widescreen. As Long as you can resize the tables you'll be fine, If you can't then you'll be in trouble. I am currently looking to upgrade to a 17 in monitor though so I can add an extra table or 2. Everthing now is fine, a little small but not to bad.

i used to 4 table on a dell 15.4", set it to 1600 x 1200 - everything fit fine with a HUD, no problems there seeing it... just a lot smaller than doing it on a 20" LCD - long as you get a 15.4" that does 1600 x 1200 or higher you should be just fine
