i'd probably c-bet that flop and i'd fold the river given how we got there- he can easily had mid pockets.

This is why I originally thought a shove was better than a call, but do mid pockets really bet this hard? I mean, are they bluffing or value betting against a heroic call?

unless the player is very strong I do not see how an average thinking player is value betting mid pockets on this board. I might call in this spot versus someone who hasnt proven he can value bet thin

imo, how can you NOT v-bet two nines here? he went 3/5 and 2/3 of the pot- his hand looks like two nines or two tens. our hand looks like something weaker than two queens- imo, it would be criminal to check the river with 99.. it gets closer with 77 and 66.

i mean i agree that very marginal winners or unspectular players will check here with those hands, but seriously it's a pretty easy bet- and bri-c seems a litle spewy aggro, but def thinking from playing with him a little yesterday.
