I didn't berate him for saying i should fold. I'm able to take criticism. I didn't berate the others who already told me thateihter. I just wanted his opinion on how to play after the first draw rather than just a quote of something someone already said. He added more to which I say thanks for the advice.

While it is nice to get specific feedback from each poster, even when they just quote a previous comment, that is telling you that multiple players agree with that particular piece of advice on the hand.

For the record, I'd agree with the fold before first draw, as playing the hand gets you in this ugly spot. Now you are pretty much stuck calling down and hoping your hand is good. I think breaking an eight is almost always wrong in 2-7. I've done it a few times and I've broken a winner more often than I've caught a winner.

Yes i get it. But since I didn't why not try and add something constructive and original and answer my question and at the end add something like oh by the way you spewed pre-draw instead of just mindlessly regurgitating something someones already said.

How about ignoring your thread because you don't seem to be taking people's advice and you have a chip on your shoulder about it? Rather than berate Howmany for saying you should be folding pre-draw, try to learn from the people who are trying to help you. I'd comment on the hand, but I don't feel like it now .

this response is out of line - save the hard ass routine as we have all heard it before

What is the minumum you guys would need to 3-bet in this spot as he did?

852? or a 72 w/ one other wheel?

This depends so much on the other players in the game that it's hard to give a definitive answer. In the right situation I have no problem with OP's threebet.

You really need to break after he puts in 4 bets and stands pat on the second draw. I'd still call and break here, without a doubt.
