Re: bob dylan beat/brag
I really like bob dylan, but the only time I feel like Im in the right place and right mood to listen to it is up at my freinds cabin on lake michigan. Everythigns just so chill up there, and the cabins all rustic. Any other setting just wont do.

Re: bob dylan beat/brag
I listen to a lot of Dylan, and Tangled up in blue from the bootlegged series volume 2, it's more acoustic version, sounds so good. It's hands down my favorite of all time.
(btw feel like sharing where you got this discography?) edit: this thread inspired an avatar change |

Re: bob dylan beat/brag
Huge brag OP.
I've seen Dylan maybe ten times or so in the past 12-15 years and it never seems like enough. This thread has also given me my musical selections for the next day or so. Thanks. psst- Zeebo- there is no question mark after your brag. |

Re: bob dylan beat/brag
Not to hijack the thread- but my own journey to gather Dylan to listen to tonight was detoured by stumbling upon some Warren Zevon albums that i hadn't listened to in a while. A couple hours later and still Dylan-less on the night I am reminded of just how good Zevon was at writing songs and how he is some evolutionary stage of the style of the songwriting Dylan uses.
It is hard to listen to Zevon without trying to picture what is happening in the song/ponder the imagery- the same thing I experience with Dylan. End potential hijack. |
