Why not VCU? Their league was, frankly, nearly as good at the top as the ACC (NC excepted, of course).

And Duke was nowhere near the top of the ACC. They barely deserved a bid, much less the seed they got. And I'm not a Duke hater...but you go 6-10 in the ACC, and you think you're any good?

In most years, Duke wins that game probably 8 times out of 10. This year? No more than 3.

VCU went 14-2 in a conference that could've received 4 bids...and I'd take Maynor over Paulus any day, give VCU credit.
