haha, we have like 30 members and get 0 traffic. More members would be great though, I haven't put much effort into getting people to sign up or post at this point.

The idea was to have a forum for good players interested in sharing strategy/stats, discussing theory (in both NL cash and MTTs), etc, but it hasn't really panned out.

Grifter you are a [censored] terrible poster. LOL at the fact you think this should be applied.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ignore the fact that I brought this to ABT. A lot of GREAT HSNL posters have expressed a desire for this.

2+2 already has the traffic. There are plenty of people playing 10/20NL+ that are bad at poker and fill up HSNL with noise.

I don't know if this would prompt people like Durr, Aba, Limon, Ray Zee, Strassa etc..to post more, maybe someone could ask them.

El Diablo once made a really good post about why the top guys no longer post. I dont want to dig it up but I am sure alot of you have read it. I dont think a new private forum would be very beneficial.

I'm 100% in favor of it. Frankly, HSNL is depressing. I'm a winning 1/2NL player, and I (like all the lowbies) aspire to improve my game and someday be at the level of the HSNL players. I used to troll HSNL and be amazed at the great content I'd get in years past, and those days are gone. There are plenty of times I read posts in that forum that are obviously foolish - even to the likes of me.

Yes, there are good threads there still on occassion, and you can still find plenty of good content if you look for it - but on the whole the quality of this forum has declined.

I feel this forum was once representative of all the good things this whole site was all about - and these days BBV4L is probably more representative of what 2p2 really is. Having something people could point to and say "this is absolutely world class poker discussion all the time" would be good for the community.

Just my two cents.

[/ QUOTE ]i may be crazy, but this may because the top players here no longer benefit from advice from players worse than them.

If the forum is limited to certain members, but open to the public, it will never work. Sure there will be great posts, but the posters get nothing from it besides educating their potiental opponents. Next idea please.
