A different way to play it would be to check call on the flop, trying to keep the pot small since you are in bubble play. On the Turn you can fire a nice size bet. If you get reraised then it is just read dependent.

Not deep enough. You want to get it on in there, or not be involved. I think hero was looking to 3bet this flop and just got called and confused. CC is only good if you're pushing ANY turn.
