Re: top pair on a 3-flush board
It pretty tough, on the flop. You won't get action from worse hands. I have never really got my head around reverse implied odds. Is this a case of that?

I'm raising this 100% of the time after limpers, no matter who is in the BB.

Re: top pair on a 3-flush board
*grunch*
Hi, Personally i just call the flop raise, and at the turn play the hand as played (so only would have played one SB less, and this is assuming you lost the hand, so if you won it i am one SB down ), he just calls the turn bet so prob has two weaker clubs and fears your nut/second nut single card flush draw, but then goes for it on the river. Then again if i was in the hot seat i would prob call his river bet as well, suspecting a bluff, fish that i am.... Beak |

Re: top pair on a 3-flush board
Yes, I agree. I think I should have just called the flop and bet out any non-club turn. My equity changes a lot on the turn as I said.

Re: top pair on a 3-flush board
If I had of just called this flop the turn would be a check fold.
