I really hate that he compares being gay to committing adultery, the two have nothing in common and it's really an ignorant way to explain his view.
If nothing else I learned that the Pentagon's top general is stupid - of course that's no great leap seeing as things are going in the military these days. Also, I believe some of you are failing to grasp the difference between an everyman saying "gays are immoral" and a man in a position of authority over gay people saying the same thing.

I'm merely claiming that calls for him to apologize don't threaten the right to free speech, when you seemed to intimate that it did.
