I'm a former professional poker player, but by no means big time famous. Everyone knows me back home, but I'd love a chance to play on TV/internet for fun.

[/ QUOTE ]

After your Gus 4,6 thread, I find it hard to believe that you were a professional poker player.

[/ QUOTE ]

tell you what...i'm going to find a vacation date and play LATB...when i ink that date in, i'll post an announcement here at 2+2 and you can come and play me (it'll be fun!). OR, if you're in the Mid-West, we can play anytime at my old stomping grounds.

Ok on March 19th at 8:30pm. I'll be at whatever casino you want.

I've never and will never claim to be a professional. You claiming to be a professional, is just a little silly to me after you displayed such lack of knowledge about some pretty basic poker concepts.

Sometimes i think i'm talking to a 19 year old kid. Well, Mar 19 is a Monday kiddo. That's not going to work for me, but that weekend is fine. I haven't played at Motorcity Detroit in ages, but our house game is the $10-20 no-limit holdem (without a cap). That's the main table, so if you call in by 7pm the wait is very reasonable. Ask for Charley. I'll have my usual blue and white jacket. It'll be a pleasure to play you.

Also, Sundays they spread 7-Card Stud if you're interested. FOr the most part, I can oblige you in any game of your choice.

lol, I think he missed my joke. I love people that make the big challenges on the internets because they know its just talk. I go and accept his challenge, and name a date and he calls me a kid. I guess 19 year olds think that you can play poker on Mondays. Kids these days.

I was going through some of yours posts and found this gem I'd forgotten about.
Why has Howard Lederer gotten fat?

You sure are mature.

LOL..btw, if you believed anything i said, i'd feel bad for you. "THEMAN" is obviously my online 2+2 persona...i obviously make stuff up online for sheer entertainment/amusement.

...just don't drive several hours in the snow to show up and play "Charley" next weekend, because the real Charley under that description is the top player in that area.

-TheMan

(OK, i've outted myself...i'm a complete online jokester! ...don't hate!)

How the f could you not have played at MotorCity "in ages?" The casino has only been there for about seven years and they've only offered poker for about half of that? I'll meet you up there any day of the week and play you at any limit you'd like and give you a donkey punch after taking your roll.

If you want to play Cash Poker, you need to 1) contact Passport Entertainment in North Hollywood (go to http://www.ultimatepokerchallenge.com/v2/cashpoker/ for details), and 2) pay Binion's $1000 in house fee (juice).
