[/ QUOTE ] i guess it comes down to whether op actually is concerned about the girls feelings. if so, then just break it off clean. if not, then i think my plan is the way to go. im not sure about the experiences of others, but in the past i have on more than one occasion met a girl, hung out with them, had a few roots etc, and its not until about 2 weeks to 1 month before they start suggesting going steady. obv at this point its time to pull the plug on the whole thing (assuming that u arent keen). james, i think u should just try and keep hooking up free booty calls as long as u can. then just drop the "um, i dont think this will really work" line on her, she'll prob hate u, but meh, u dont even live in the same state so no worries!
