Re: Who here has let their poker game slide after a strong start?
Probably most people, like the estimated 95% of lifetime losers.
1. Hot start/get lucky 2. Lose interest/aren't good enough/don't put the work in to improve 3. Busto 4. Repeat (optional) Then there's the people who actually make money. Bastards. |

Re: Who here has let their poker game slide after a strong start?
I had a nice two years of playing professionally at high stakes 6-max LHE where I made a comfortable 6 figure total. Nowadays, I can't stand to play poker and when I do, I can't even beat 2/4. It is entirely possible that I was never actually good at poker and I was just running hot/beating up on the mongoloids at Party, but regardless, I never want to play poker online again and am currently in school studying to do a profession that I won't hate.

Re: Who here has let their poker game slide after a strong start?
I havent played on a regular basis scince my home games dried up about 8 months ago. Back then i played 2-3 home games a week and 2-3 hours online every day. Now i doubt i even hit 2 hours per week.
