^^i don't know about duque b/c of the age concerns, though who knows...
pelfrey has to make the rotation this year...i mean, he needs to develop and get experience, i don't care how badly he struggles since i think the mets can pull through on the offense alone for a good amount of the season...

Hard to blame Hampton for accepting an insane contract when it was offered to him. Would have been incredibly dumb of him to say, "Nope...that's more money than I'm worth so I'm not going to sign." 2. I don't know Mike Hampton, but my hunch is that he would rather be playing baseball and doesn't particularly like being injured also.
