I have a full house. So am not concerned about charging people for draws. Anyway, seems standard is $25 to build a pot. I checked. Mistake number 1.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero ($423.70)
Button ($389.80)
SB ($402)
BB ($533.40)
UTG ($434.70)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
1 fold, Hero raises to $16, 2 folds, BB calls $12.

Flop: ($34) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($34) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $22, Hero raises to $80, BB raises to $167, Hero ...

Lol, you have a full house so you're not concerned about charging people?

You DO want to charge draws, but for different reason than the potential loss of the pot.

If he has a T, get all of his money by betting now.

If he has QJ or 87, bet an amount he can "profitably" call i.e. price him in to hit a K or 8 and hope he gets there so you can stack him when he check-raises you. How would you feel if he misses his draw and you could have gotten a flop call and small turn call? Maybe he'll draw and draw, and miss, then bluff big.

If he has T9s, so be it, cooler.

EDIT: now he could just as easily have KQ or AT. call and call his river shove.

Very good point guys, thankyou. That is one thought process (very major one at that) that seems to pass me by in these spots. Will be something I can focus on. Thanks. So, action on the turn?

where do you people get this stuff? there are a lot of hands that call that are drawing. there are a lot of hands w/ overcards that will call thinking we're FOS. There are a lot of smaller pairs that will call thinking this flop isn't too likely to have hit us.
