Fill a suitcase with clothes, this is what you will be needing.

GOD NO

that's way too many clothes. its completely unnecessary to bring a ton of clothes when u go backpacking in europe. a couple pairs of shorts, jeans, t-shirts, a set of warm clothes, and 1 or 2 "nice" outfits.

Don't want to hijack the thread or anything, but i'm going over to the states this summer and i have some questions i hoped you americans could help me with:

1. I'm flying in and out of new york, but figure once i'm in the states i might as well drop by vegas. I guess the easiest would just be to jump on a bus, but i get really carsick sometimes - is there a ferry or something i can get?

2. I heard in america everyone is fat. Is this true? Even the prostitutes? Would i be better off just bringing a european prostitute with me on my trip?

3. I've experimented back and forth and figured the easiest way for me to carry my stuff around is by using a shopping cart. Can i bring this on the plane i have no clue about this stuff?

Thanx America!

You're crazy if you bring "weeks" of clothes. I would be sketch about carrying large amounts of cash since I know at 3 people who were robbed in Spain. 10k is stupid. I don't see why you wouldn't get a backpack. You have to carry your clothes in something and a backpack is better than a suitcase for your intentions.
