Lakisha's dressed to impress tonight.

Gina did pretty good.

Alaina was singing pretty well.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, at least it was upbeat and miles better than last week. She came out fighting to stay in the competition. The judges were overly harsh.

If Lakisha doesn't drop a couple spots there is something wrong here. Who really wants to hear and see that??

Lakisha - Good but she has shown she is mortal. If you would have shown me that side by side with Paris Bennet last year and said 'Who is the American Idol' I would have said Gary Coleman (although I must say that it was one of the only performances I remembered from last year by ANYONE because I thought it was phenomenal).

Yeah it wasn't as good as Paris's, but then again if I were someone that voted I would have voted for Paris as best, and it was the perfect song for her and perhaps the best performance of last year. So Lakisha gets a pass.

It'll be interesting hearing Doolittle next and comparing.

I vote for Alaina's dress! Really pretty tonight!

Very nice job by Lakisha. I thought she was really good. You didn't like?

Melinda is sounding good tonight.
She seriously needs to lose the old fogey pantsuit though.

I would buy a CD with Melinda's song there on it.

That was insanely good. If I didn't know what it was I would have thought it was a professional singing that song...and showing off. Also I hate that song and she killed it, I still stand by my comments last week to buy lots of stock in Melinda.

Doolittle - Good pitch and all that, but BOOORING!!! Is she really 29 years old. They need to check her birth certificate because she seem more like 49 to me. The judges are ridiculous.
