Re: Greatest Scorsese Movie of All Time - First Round
Joker:
Sorry to piss you off so badly. In my defense, "Life Lessons" isn't even listed on IMDB (not to say IMDB is the ultimate authority on this type of stuff). On an unrelated note - Scorsese directed Michael Jackson's music video 'Bad'. Swede |

Re: Greatest Scorsese Movie of All Time - First Round
I voted for raging bull, but cape fear beats 6-16 (mean streets is close). AS much as I like some of these films none have a prayer vs goodfellas.

Re: Greatest Scorsese Movie of All Time - First Round
I assume I am the only person who thinks Goodfellas is slightly overrated. I think it's a great film, but I don't think it is as amazing as most people feel it is.
However, it's still my second favorite of Scorsese's films, with my favorite being Raging Bull. |

Re: Greatest Scorsese Movie of All Time - First Round
Goodfellas is by far his best film. Then After Hours. #3 is Color of Money.
FWIW, I thought Cape Fear was horrible. |

[/ QUOTE ] I agree with the many people who put Goodfellas as the strong favorite to win it all, but personally I feel Raging Bull is probably a better overall movie. Raging Bull was also one of the more difficult movies to watch, in my opinion. Swede |

[/ QUOTE ] It was his chapter in the omnibus project NEW YORK STORIES. Stars Nick Nolte, Rosanna Arquette, and Steve Buscemi. Written by Richard Price (Clockers, Sea of Love) and shot by Nestor Almendros (Days of Heaven). Total masterpiece. I am boycotting this entire poll. I know nobody cares, but still. Boris - I agree with you on "After Hours". However, I suspect that many people have not seen this.
