I agree, its actually just funny how people are soooo skeptical around here that things can be gone in an instant, i remember when the first wire act posts and card room shutdowns were being posted and 1,000,000 people seemed to post about how everyone was crying wolf and the sky wasnt falling, well ladies, the sky fell, and its going to continue to fall, the warm comfy days are over and poker players need to fight for their rights.

p.s. if your not part of the solution, your part of the problem. Quit your complaining if your not manning up and contacting some congress people.

The games are still ok at best, but how easy is it for you to cash out or deposit and how worried about your online money are you? Online poker is gettting killed, its nearly over, each day some other method gets kaboshed and there seems to be no positive news on the horizon other than speculation

Maybe, but the per capita GDP's and growth rate in most of Europe is below US.

The disposable income of the Western European population has been on par with the USA's for a few decades. I'm surprised you don't know.

For crying out loud, most companies are trying to get the feet wet (or are already fully soaked) in “emerging markets”.

And the emerging markets in this case would be the UK?? Are you serious?

the future of poker (long term) is no brighter in most of Europe than it is in the US, or Asia.

in all cases, it will be with government regulated rooms which will probably only allow players from their respective country.

Just what do you think harrah's planned to do with the WSOP brand - leverage it around the world as much as possible or just sit on it in Vegas?

This has nothing to do with UIGEA. You are right though that Poker is moving fast in Asia and Europe with plenty of room for growth. I just can't see the Vegas brand being challenged any time soon, probably not in my lifetime anyway. The WSOP is not going to do some country by country move like the Olympics or the World Cup, the WSOP home is Vegas.
