I'd call C/R & raise turn, but whatever.

Qualifying yourself for the MilesDyson Out-of-Pace-Play Hall of Shame.

Out of pace play is tough: to do when you are in position.

GH. You're either ahead of a J or tying most of the time. Sometimes he will show down AQ (perhaps having you on QJ).

Edit: if this guy is terrible he might have flopped 2 pair with a 3 or hit trip 3's on the river. Chalk these up to variance & weak passive opponents.

Edit 2: Yeah, if he has a set or QJ on the flop he is leading to the river. He might also have a straight draw with his c/r check check line and be looking for free cards.

The point is you are good here usually.

I'd bet $5k that Miles does the same thing as a default line.

Yeah totally not what I was talking about.

I don't think it matters what you do in this hand. I bet both plays are similar in EV in a vacuum.

Turn is actually not just another round of betting, but another card comes off, which might complete a draw, and then you get bet/3-bet by a made hand and it sucks. And just by raising you put in two bets against a hand you're drawing dead against and it's like uuuggh.
