Erik Cajelais is WAY overdue for a big win like this. His name is getting very familiar to me, but I gotta root for Shane.

He has a larger score than what 1st here would equal. He has been going deep in a lot of 10K events lately and I agree he deserves some recognition. But its starting to get there.

I always respected his game, He never talked at the tables from when we played. I remember playing a 900$ tourney and getting busted with JJ into KK and I was sick with my PF shove. The player with KK just had 2 straight all ins AA and KK so I figured to make a move on him with JJ. I said wow I played that [censored] and Eric just said nah, I would have done the same. It was a classy thing to say since I was obviously real upset. Good guy

I am just joking about Tap dancing and stuff. At the clubs he had a buddy called JK or Jay that used to tease him all the time about being a pretty boy. Used to say his Life partner was a tap dancer, that he drove a miata etc.. It was funny

Danny Wong is a cocky 21-year-old Cantonese Chinese-speaking kid from Los Angeles who finished 2nd to Shannon Shorr at the Bellagio Cup II.

This kid knows ALL about WPT's play for Macau and "Greater China".

[/ QUOTE ]

lolovert dude, please...wtf?

Danny Wong may or may not be cocky, but he's definitely not as fixated with the gambling market in China as you are, so how about we keep this on topic? Also, DW seems like a real good kid (not cocky) to me.

[/ QUOTE ]

Still upset with me for turning you down as a client, shaniac?

LOL

Seriously, anyone who wants to win a string of TELEVISED poker tournaments and become marketable as a poker personality has to have some degree of cockiness and swagger.

Exhibit A: Daniel Negreanu

Exhibit B: The Grinder

Exhibit C: Mike Matusow

Exhibit D: Gus Hansen

Danny Wong is definitely on my radar. He knows that he has to win on TV at least once in order to be marketable when "Greater China" opens up (2009 at the earliest).

Rumor has it that the Gavins have a bet similar to the one that Smith had with Allie Prescott in New Orleans last year. If Smith wins he gets 300k, if Griffin wins it's 500k, amounts payable over 5 years. Lol ridiculouspropbetaments.
