Turn raise looks superweak after the flop check obviously, but I assume you did not give credit to villain to pick up on this. I still think even a bad player doesn't fold a mid-pair on the turn, let alone a Q. I'd shove any river that doesn't allow you to check behind with value.

Also, with 4 outs max on this flop and little value exposure to a check-raise, a cbet is better than checking behind vs. an opponent who from your description shouldn't be floating very often. You have enough to bet the river with 20bb preflop stacks if he checks turn.

Im saying that because you are saving urself like 3000 chips, if he is weak and straight forward he wont fire two barrels.

i dont mind the flop check.

on the turn, his lead is probably a weak hand, but hes not going to believe your raise very often. i dont mind just calling the turn and reevaluating on the river. if he makes another weak bet, make a big raise thats hard for him to call, if he checks, probably make a big bet if the board texture is ok.

im either betting flop or check folding im not afraid to play weak tight if i feel im beat or he may make a move w a drawing hand that i cant call
